Glory
2 Corinthians 3:18 // My grandmother used to say, "Good morning, glory!" to each one of her family. I started writing this song at the beach, with my feet in the ocean, just singing to God and really asking him if he could hear me. I still ask Him lots of questions. The only instrument I had with me to find my pitch was my grandmother's accordian, which, according to legend, she bought on QVC. She was such a precious godly woman. She taught me in a story of a little black sheep that we should trust those who have known God longer than ourselves, and I trusted her. She told me to always give my very best gift. So, I hope she is singing along.
Can You hear me sing Your praises, Glory;
Can You hear my voice lift high?
You are all I have in this world, Glory,
I will love You all my life.

Glory, glory, glory, God Almighty.
Glory, glory, glory, I will sing.
Glory, glory, glory, God Almighty.
Glory to the King of kings.

Glory, You are my Glory.
Glory, yes, I will sing.
Glory, You are my glory.
Glory to the King of kings.

Glory, glory, glory, God Almighty.
Glory, glory, glory, I will sing.
Glory, glory, glory, God Almighty.
Glory to the King of kings.

Can You hear me sing Your praises, Glory;
Can You hear my voice lift high?
You are all I have in this world, Glory,
I will love You all my life;
I will love You all my life...
